Plot Summary

Sindbad the Porter discovered the home of Sindbad the Sailor and assumed that because the sailor was very wealthy, he had not known hardship like the porter had. The porter was invited into the sailor’s home, and the sailor told a total of seven tales about his sea voyages and the hardships he endured to explain his wealth and help the porter understand that he had struggled as well.

Upon the conclusion of those seven tales, stretched over seven nights, the porter and the sailor understood one another and became lifelong friends.
