One day, they all went traveling together. They stopped at a mysterious city where the only person left alive was a young man reciting the Quran.

The woman fell in love with this young man, and he joined them on their journey. The man and woman made plans to get married, and her sisters became very envious. They threw their sister and the man overboard. The man drowned, but the lady managed to make it to shore.

She saved a female serpent from a male serpent, and the female serpent turned into a she-demon. The demon wanted to repay the good deed the lady had done, so she turned her envious sisters into dogs. The demon also cast a curse that the lady had to beat both dogs each night, which is why she was beating the dogs and then crying when the men were at the house that night.
